Marcia developed her unique style that is based around the changing of her characters. Millers Crossing has received praise for its flexibility. Next up is the much anticipated Universal Film Fifty Shades of Grey, in which she plays Christian Grey's mom. Valentine's Day has been chosen to release this film. Other recent projects included Elsa & Fred starring the legend Shirley MacLaine, Christopher Plummer and The ABC comedy Trophy Wife starring Malin Ackerman and Bradley Whitford, and Woody Allen's Magic in the Moonlight starring Emma Stone and Colin Firth. In autumn, Harden reprised her role in the role of First Amendment attorney Rebecca Halliday in the critically-acclaimed guest star role on Aaron Sorkin's HBO series The Newsroom. Marcia is an Hollywood outsider who has worked in studio and independent films, as well as theater and television.
