Mrs. Rivas has over 13 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker who has a multi-lingual and multicultural background. She has worked with diverse people, such as LGBTQ+, those dealing problems with addiction, survivors of sexual assault and intimate relationship violence. Since the beginning of 2019, Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. The clinic now offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Dr. Rivas has worked with pregnant and postpartum moms for more than 10 years. She is an expert in treating trauma-informed patients and provides EMDR for adult patients. She offers individual and group counseling, as well as a Medication-Assisted Therapy Program and referrals for specialist care and Women's Support Group. Amanda is a volunteer for Best Friends Animal Society to assist homeless animals in finding homes. Amanda is a firm believer in Best Friends' slogan, save Them All, and has set out to contribute in helping Los Angeles become a no kill city.
